Dinnah is an advocate of the High Court and all other subordinate courts of Uganda. She holds a master’s degree in Intellectual Property from Africa University in Zimbabwe, an LLB Degree from Uganda Christian University, Mukono and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Uganda.
She has been a part of the SIPI family since 2012 and has amassed experience in the field of IP, corporate and commercial matters. Dinnah specialises in the areas of Trademark prosecution and transactions, patent, and copyright advisory, but is also passionate about Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has also handled several Business and Land Transactions and has a practical approach to challenges faced by clients and is enthusiastic about resolving any challenge effectively and timely.
Dinnah has been involved in regulatory and policy advisory having been a member of the steering committee for the formulation of the National IP Policy. She has been ranked as a gold tier lawyer in Trademark matters in Uganda by the World Trademark Review for the years 2020 and 2021. Dinnah is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), The East Africa Law Society, The Uganda Law Society and Uganda Law Society Intellectual Property Law Cluster (ULS) and The Federation of Uganda female Lawyer (FIDA)
Dinnah loves outdoor activities, travelling and is an ardent cook.
